This is one of our neighborhood cuties chomping on a sunflower
seed. We spend 8 months out of the year on our deck/office
and the wildlife doesn’t seem to mind at all - in fact they seem
to enjoy posing. This Cardinalis cardinalis or Northern Cardinal
female and her hubby usually lead the bird feeder charge each
morning. We’re an upscale bird restaurant with songbird food
from Kroger. Haha.
